This product is cost-effective, and easy to install & use. By default, it requires no configuration and installation, but can be managed using the powerful Web interface, and/or SNMP. In addition, offsite management using the free Wi-Tek Cloud Platform is available.

With outstanding performance and quality, this product is a great choice for expanding your home, office, or airMax network.

  • PoE (Power over Ethernet).
  • Port Control, including rate limiting, flow control, trunking and mirroring.
  • VLANs (Virtual LANs) including binding MAC addresses to VLAN IDs
  • QoS (Quality of Service), including COS & DSCP
  • STP, MSTP, RSTP (Spanning Tree Protocol, Rapid STP, Multiple STP)
  • SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol. Versions 2c & 3)
  • LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol)
  • ACLs (Access Control Lists)
  • AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Accounting), including RADIUS+ and 802.1x.
  • SNTP (Simple Network Time Protocol)
  • RMON (Remote Monitoring)

[Optional] Cloud Management

The Wi-Tek Cloud Platform is a free service hosted by Wi-Tek. The typical way this works is:

  • The network administrator creates a free Cloud account
  • Each Cloud-ready device can be optionally connected to that Cloud account
  • The network administrator can login to the Cloud Account, and monitor and control all the connected devices.

The Cloud account can be accessed via:

    • Front console serial port,
    • SSH, or
    • Telnet

Home Assistant (HA) Managed

This device can also be managed by any network management tool that can acquire and display SNMP values. One such tool is the free, open-source Home Assistant system.

  • Dashboard image. In the images above, see the screen shot showing an example HA dashboard monitoring, and controlling, two ports on this device.
  • Home Assistant configuration files:
    • Package: This file is added to HA to allow HA to monitor and control this PoE switch via SNMP.
    • Dashboard Card: This file defines what is displayed on the HA dashboard.

48 V PoE - 3 Modes

Using the management interface, each PoE port can be set as below:

  1. Auto 48 V 802.3af/at PoE on pins 1,2,3,6
  2. Disable (No PoE out)
  3. Force 48 V (Passive 48V PoE always on) on pins 1,2,3,6

PoE voltage is delivered as in this table.
