AP or Station - with airPrism Filtering
The PrismStation 5AC can be in Access Point (AP) or Station ('client') mode, just like the similar IsoStation 5AC. But unlike the IsoStation 5AC, this model has the advantage of airPrism technology to provide better filtering of unwanted nearby frequencies.
The PrismStation 5AC brings increased performance to your network using technology that isolates beam communications between your devices. It also adds quality and flexibility with a die-cast aluminum base and interchangeable feedhorns.
Beam Performance Perfected
The PrismStation can use a variety of sector feedhorns designed for increased co-location performance without sacrificing gain (sold separately). Its unique beam performance and superb co-location characteristics allow for a higher density of sectors than traditional sector technology.
Built to Fight Noise With Prism Active RF Filter
The Ubiquiti R&D team designed airPrism filtering as a robust solution for tower co-location interference. Requiring no communication between radios – and functioning despite noise from other vendors’ radios (unlike GPS synchronization) – airPrism enables greater system capacity and overall throughput by further reducing out-of-band energy.
With flexible sectorisation for optional beamwidths, the feedhorns are interchangeable and improve beam‑shaping for specific deployment and environment needs. The PrismStation 5AC can use sector feedhorns designed for increased co-location performance without sacrificing gain.
Management Wi-Fi Radio
The PrismStation AC integrates a separate Wi-Fi radio for fast and easy setup using your mobile device.
Symmetrical feedhorns (45° and 30° sold separately) offer breakthrough scalability options for wireless systems. They are ideal for cluster sector installations with high co-location requirements.
Unique beam performance and great co-location characteristics allow for a higher density of sectors than traditional sector technology.
Asymmetrical feedhorns (60° and 90° versions sold separately) are designed to have attenuated side lobes and extremely low back radiation. They offer best front-to-back ratio in the industry and the lowest side lobe radiation.
